In February 1997, Chuck Stencel founded Serenity Packaging with the objective of putting the customer first, while believing sales and profits would naturally follow. Chuck also believed employees were by far the greatest asset in achieving this objective and envisioned an organization in which employees worked in an inviting environment, conducive to collaboration, and were empowered to proactively address customers’ needs. He thought decisions should be based on delivering value to both the customer and the employee.
These beliefs are still part of the Serenity mission today. We have grown from a small Chicagoland distributor to a service-focused distributor across North America and the Caribbean. Chuck’s vision has been proven successful by our double-digit sales growth in all but two years.

Serenity Packaging is committed to giving back to the community and worldwide charitable causes. Throughout the year, we work with a different charity to help contribute to their specific needs. Over the years, we have worked to collect shoes, school supplies, toiletries, food or toys, donate time and funding to a wide variety of organizations that help people and animals alike.
Serenity has collected hundreds of pairs of shoes for the Project WWJ shoe drive that helps children in many low-income areas in North, Central and South America.
